Arthritis Walk

I'm on the board of the local chapter of the Arthritis Foundation. Every May, it holds an Arthritis Walk in Forest Park to raise funds for research and services. My firm is a co-sponsor of the event. We get every kind of walker out in support of the cause, including those who need regular walking and some to whom it may be a special occasion.

TOMORROW: Unsupported patriotism.

Great shot. Did you use your Lensbaby on this? Love the effect on the sky.

Jen - thanks for the note. No Lensbaby on this one. The subject is all in focus. There are a couple of things I did to make it a little strange. I was very close, actually kneeling in front of him, with a pretty short focal length. That makes it seem to bulge like a balloon from the center. In the computer, I put a mask over the sky and really bumped up the contrast. This picture didn't draw comments other than yours today but I'm personally very happy with it.
